This is my husband's grandmother's buffet....I just love antiques!
I thought this blog carnival looked like a lot of fun and I missed out on last weeks Kitchen posting but thought I would jump in for the Living Rooms. This is our formal living room and hopefully later, I will have my family room clean so that you can see it as well...right now it looks like Toys R Us threw up in there....oh well...please don't get your hopes up. This room stays clean most of the time...why? I have no idea with 4 little ones running around. We picked this color when we moved in and I would really like to repaint it a lighter color sometime soon....hopefully I can get some color ideas from some of you! If you would like to participate as well, click on the link on the right and it will take you to Kelly's Korner Blog and you too can post your living room.
Thanks for stopping in! Kristine

What a pretty room!
That buffet is beautiful. I wish I had heirloom furniture like that. And I hear ya on the "not able to keep things down low." Maybe one day I'll be able to have things on my tables and floors again. But for now, I'm thrilled I have a reason to pick it all up.
Come back to see us sometime.

Your house is beautiful! I love the red. I think every house needs to have red somewhere.
I love the unfinished painting by your mom. And your blog name cracked me up since I told my husband the exact same thing a few days ago (and then followed it with a "I love you more than peanut M&Ms, too) :-)
